Prom 2012.

My last Prom, I almost just shed a tear..

I went with this fella right here,
Jadon Pace.

well except for the house and car in the back..but it's all good! we still look very nice.

well, we went ice skating for our day date!!

there's Jadon, Me!(duh), Arsen, Karla, Mitch, Kresha, Erica and Harry!
it was so much fun! i didn't fall ONCE. nope. neither did Jadon. we were the only couple that survived :)
Thanks to Jadon for staying with me so i wouldn't fall...haha
we went to Outback for dinner, and i've never been there. but holy mother teresa, it was delicious!

After Prom, the boys had this huge "surprise" they were going to do for us ladies!
All i got from them is that it was going to be AMAZING. and i also heard romantic?
We went down by the lake, and after being scared half to death by some devil worshiper....or random guy hugging himself in the dark with a cloak...we went to a different part. We found out we were going to do Sky Lanterns :)

except it wasn't that big.
and it also didn't light.
at all. so we just stood there....yeah. awkward. ahah :)
it was a VERY nice attempt and gesture from the boys :) very appreciated!!
The day/night was full of crazy fun times, as well as dissapointments.
really DJ? you couldn't play some nice jams?
i think we all got kind of sick of our dates from all of the slow songs put on.
but, not in a bad way. :)
well, by the time it was time to go home, i was POOPED. i literally got home, got in my PJ's and passed out!
All in all, it was an amazing Prom for thy Senior year. :)

Sadly, my sleep has been a lot more important than class lately.

29 DAYS UNTIL GRADUATION.

"Everyone I know is getting married or pregnant. I'm just getting more awesome."

So yesterday I posted a status that I thought was pretty funny.

It wasn't meant to "offend" anyone, or anything. I just wanted to giggle, and have others giggle with  me!

Well.. it worked! People liked it! But some also got very angry..

Funny right? Well, I cant take the credit! It is a quote from "How I met your Mother".

Barney Stinsons said it, to be exact.

He's hilarious! and that quote fits PERFECT with todays society..well Orem..

I don't know about anywhere else..

A lot of teenagers are getting pregnant, it's like an epidemic. Everyone is catching it. 

But also some are PLANNING the dang thing! I mean, you're 15 planning to have a baby....

Seriously..

But anyway. 

It caused such a frenzy on Facebook I just HAD to blog about it.

Moments after I posted that genius status, I got a "hate status".
OMG right? no...not really.

It was funny actually, lashing out on me for posting a status that wasn't directed towards anyone.

But hey, that's facebook.

I got people saying, "you don't know anything. don't talk." 

"you're pathetic. talking about teen moms"

blah blah blAAAAH!

Okay, no. I don't know what it's like to be a teen mom.

And, I am NOT pathetic, but thanks :)

It's just funny to me that soooo many people around me are really getting pregnant.

Or married.

And I really am growing more awesome with time!

I think that is the best birth control...well not the best. But a good one.

Look at teens around you, struggling.

I sure as heck DO NOT want a child until I'm 24 and up.

I mean they're cute, squishy, little versions of you and your significant other.

But they also just eat, sleep, digest, cry, scream, smack you in the face, throw up on your cute shirt, maybe even pee on your hand when you're trying to change a diaper..ewwwww.

Babies are supposed to come out of true love. The kind of love that is binded with marriage.

Not infatuation or lust.

A baby deserves more than that.

You're not even supposed to be doing that until you're married! EEK.

Well, I just wanted to share some thoughts on teen pregnancy.

I of course am not judging anyone who is pregnant and is a teen.

But I just think you could have done something better with your life than sit at home taking care of a child. 

That could be taken in so many different ways...

Spring Break!

Well, as our dear Spring Break comes to a sad end,

I sit here listening to Jason Mraz,

too lazy to finish my FAFSA...oh me..

Well unlike my fellow Choir buds, i didn't go on choir tour :(

SAD DAY.

more like sad week. -.-

Just kidding i had a freaking blast here in little 'ol Utah!

Well, Spring Break started with, non other than..

THE Black Light Stomp.

Oh man, we waited AGES for it! (i'm not complaining Studco.)

It was SO.MUCH.FUN.

I had a blast! I went with these ladies...

 Meckelle, Me, Karla, Ally, Alissa and Jenny! :)

Yea baby, numba 6! :)

We met up with Camille and Kenzie there, and boy did we have a BLAST!

(i keep saying that, but it was!)

I was on the ground a lot. Not "droppin' it low" like ya'll would expect..

but getting pushed down, stomped on, getting elbowed everywhere,

bumping heads with Ally...the usual. NBD.

Woke up with the craziest bruises, but it was worth it! 

 Well, that following Monday I worked some...

then went over to Karla's to have some girl talk ya know..she was missing her boyfriend

HE'S ALMOST BACK KARLAAAAA!

but she already knows that... :)

well after talking we decided we were hungry so we went to Cafe Rio. YUM.

After that lovely friend din din, we headed over to the Mountain View Tennis courts to meet up with Alissa and Ally. Jenny died for a while, but then she decided to make an appearance. Luis was getting schooled by Alissa in Tennis...HAA :) 

well anywho. we went to Chili's for Jodee's birthday. Karla, Ally, Alissa, Jenny, Luis, Jodee and me. 

It was an adventure :)

Now for TUESDAAAAY! :)

David, Karla, Jadon and me went hiking! We hiked the Y. Holy crap. It was sooo not what i expected. I didn't have to use my inhaler though, so it wasn't thaaat bad :)

Every now and then Karla and i would rest..It was worth it though. The view was soooooooo pretty.

Hiking, water fights, ice cream. I'll be doing that again!

The rest of my Spring Break consisted of awkward hours of work. Not fun. 

Friday Karla, Ally and i went Hot tubing though :) that was awesome.

I watched Titanic in 3D yesterday, cried. Yep. Totally worth the 3 hours and 14 minutes of my life.

And today, today is the day i should probably catch up on my homework..and prepare myself for school.

Well. I am off to do ... what good girls do on Sundays..

BACK TO SCHOOL WE GOOOOO.

I just love it when...

I completely and utterly LOVE it when people complain and complain about the same thing, then go back to it or do nothing to change it.

Love it.

How hard is it to buckle up and do something to change the outcome of a situation?

Apparently it's like the end of the world for some people...

Please refrain from complaining about a certain friend you have, if you can't stand up for yourself, tell them what they are doing and saying is hurtful, or  stop being friends with them.

Then TA DA!  Nothing to worry about! :)

I have chosen to leave "friends" in my past. I won't say it was easy, because it wasn't. But i wasn't going to sit there and pretend i didn't know they were talking trash on me, let them make me feel like i was the one doing something wrong, because guess what?

I WASN'T.

The only thing i did wrong was stay around for so long, and not stand up for myself.

So come on people.

Do something for yourself, and  stop complaining about it.

Especially when you act all best friends the next day. 

Really now?
